t is me, turning exactly 32 years old, graphite on paper, drawn by a senior student of École des beaux arts de Gia Định. Nice painting, I really love it, although the character in the drawing was not in the best mood for a portrait! Just something for me to remember… “the stains of time”.

I’m sorry having to blank out the artist signature, she is a brave one, having chosen the difficult way of becoming an artist, and even among the very small minority who has chosen Vietnamese lacquer painting for her path!
