great weekend with lots of fun learning my very first sailing lessons, we have a windsurf, a dinghy, a small monohull, a catamaran, and a trimaran to try sailing! What else could I ask for!? There were lots of wind and traffic on the river today. What’s a wonderful moment when I had the tiller in my hand, trying to conduct some simple broad reaching maneuvers.

From what I’ve learned in sailing books, to actual actions in reality are some large distances, and it needs a lot of practices to fill those gaps. At the end of the day, we made another “classical” mistake, a broach while in a smooth and fast downwind running, but it was also another fun experience trying to right a capsized heavy monohull it with centerboard.
